The 9th Annual Spooner Heritage Festival

Bringing people together by celebrating the traditions of our past.

The Spooner Heritage Festival is a cultural and historical festival featuring traditional arts, music, food, and fun!  The festival will open at 7:30 PM on Friday September 15th with the Two Buck Dance in the Grand Tent on Front Street in downtown Spooner, Wisconsin, near Spooner's historic railroad yards.

On Saturday September 16th the entertainment continues with free admission to the Heritage Grand Tent from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, then the Northern Heritage Fiddle Contest at 3:00 PM, and the Heritage Headline Concert at 7:30 PM featuring the Midwest's premier bluegrass and gospel quintet, Monroe Crossing.

Surrounding the Grand Tent on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM will be a Traditional Arts Fair, the Heritage Marketplace, the Heritage Food Court, and a Farmer's Market. Just a stone's throw away will be the Chandler Acoustic Stage with free music, storytelling, contests, and demonstrations from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Nearby will be booths with kids activities and displays such as Fort Folle Avoine's Rendezvous Encampment Display. The stage adjoins Spooner's historic rail depot, and you might want to step inside and tour the Railroad Memories Museum or take a ride on the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad. And just a block away is the Antique Tractor Show.

Last year the Nemakagon String Band were a hit at the Chandler Acoustic Stage.  Meanwhile antique tractors were parading through the festival site, trying to avoid the giant pumpkins and mammoth sunflowers.

The Spooner Heritage Festival is made possible by our many sponsors.  Please thank them and give them your patronage while you are in Spooner. For more information or tickets for the Spooner Heritage Festival call 1-800-367-3306.
